Monitor System

For individual equipment details, go to the Meet The Band pages

Monitor System:
A custom 100 ft, 24 channel snake splits inputs 1-12 to send the vocals & Instrument inputs to the Stage mixer. Any remaining splits are handled by the stage mixer which also has built-in splitters on all 16 channels. The remaining 12 snake channels are straight inputs to the house mixer. This setup allows 6 custom individual mixes with any combination of vocals & instruments that are controlled onstage to free up the soundman for the house mix.

The band uses a 6-mix system, employing one of the following monitors, depending on personal preference:

EV 12"-2 way floor wedgw
Community 12"/Horn
Carvin PM5-B personal stand-mount monitors
TC-Helicon personal monitor
Behringer B212A powered Monitor
Brad uses the Shure PM200 In-Ear monitor system.

Signal Path: Monitor mixer outputs 1-6 to Graphic EQ's (either 15 or 31 band). If non-powered Monitor is used, EQ output goes to Carvin DCM 1204 or DCM 1000 power amp (used as six mono power supplies), or low-impedance output direct to powered Monitors. The Stage mixer is a Special 16 channel Peavey monitor Mixer (pictured at right).
