We were saddened to hear of the passing of Steven Keyes of West Haven on 7/18/07.
He was battling cancer. The band performed a benefit concert to raise money for
Steven and his family in March of 2007. Deepest condolences to family & friends.

After a ferocious storm on 7/28/06, the Savin Rock Concert started only 45 minutes behind schedule! Thanks to all who attended. It was an excellent show! We had a great time.
And true to form, WPLR's Wigmaster did a live Wigout while standing in 3" of water behind the Pavilion!

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Mary Pettinelli (Bob's Mom)
on 5/12/06. She attended many shows over the last several years (especially
when Bob was drumming with us). Wipe Out (Surfari's) was one of her favorites.
She was a great lady and will be missed very much. Our sympathies
go out to the Pettinelli family on their loss.

Bill & Ken's father, Bill Bloxsom Sr. just passed away on 3/15/06. Our
deepest sympathies go out to them and their families. Mr. Bloxsom was
an accomplished singer and an all-round great guy. His voice could fill an
auditorium without a microphone. He also had the honor of being
chosen to sing the National Anthem for his beloved Boston Red Sox
at Fenway Park in 1999, as well as seeing them finally clinch the
World Series in 2004. He will be greatly missed.

Thanks to all who came out to Contrassegno's on 6/25. We had a good time. Unfortunately there was a blackout at midnight! Looked like a good part of town was in the dark.

The March 19th show at The Gathering has been cancelled due to building being demolished!

Thanks to all who attended the Feb. 5th benefit for the Pihonak family at the Milford KofC. The   show was sold out and a huge success. The Lasse and Pihonak families extend their thanks and appreciation to all. Special thanks to Fred Bialka (The DJ Company), Brian Smith (WICC radio personality), the guys in Flashback (Tony, Ken, Bill, Thom, Scott, Brad, Bob) for donating their services.

Mother Nature gave us a beating on 1/22/05. Shelton dance to be rescheduled. Hold your tickets and watch the schedule for updates! In the meantime, join us on 1/29/05 at the Wallingford Elks club.

Thanks to all who joined us on New Years Eve. at the Milford Pyramid Shrine. A great time was had by all. Don't forget to make your reservations for next NYE! Same place, same time!

Thanks to everyone who attended the Benefit dance at the Shriners on 12/10/04. We were able to raise over $7,000.00 to help the Tartaglio family! John and family also attended the dance, a special treat, and many people got to meet them and extend their support. John is truly an inspiration to all those around him in this very difficult time. Also, as a special gift, he was given a football signed by none other than Joe Namath! Also, thanks to Engine 260 (George Ambrisco, Big Jim & crew) for sponsoring the dance and to the many helpers, people and organizations that donated prizes and food for the cause. And of course, the guy's in the band and Bob Boshea for donating their time and talents.

A new show has been booked at the Captains Cove Seaport in Bridgeport, CT for Aug. 31, 2002. This is a free show from 3-7 PM, Rain or Shine. Don't miss it!

This just in. A fireworks display is tentatively scheduled for the Taste Of Milford on Sept. 13th, 2002! Last year's display was excellent. At an estimated cost of $7000.00 for a proposed 1/2 hr. show, the Fireworks Committee is in need of financial donations, as this is a private effort not funded by the city. Any amount is welcome. There are collection jar's at Wanda's Sugar Shack, Harborwalk Deli and Park Lane Deli, all in the center of town. Thanks in advance for your support!

A small club performance is scheduled for The Corner Pocket Cafe in Orange, CT, on August 24th. Details to follow. Keep a look-out!

Flashback has been asked back to the Wallingford Center Inc. Annual dance on Sat. 3/1/2003, to be held at Zandri's Stillwood Inn, Wallingford, CT.

Flashback has been asked back to the Seymour Concert Series on Wed. 8/21/02, sponsored once again by Shady Knoll Health Center. This is a free concert held on the Paul E. Chatfield school grounds.

After a sold out show on 2/16/02, the Polish American Club in Windsor Locks, CT has booked Flashback for two more show's, Oct. 5th, 2002 & Feb. 15th, 2003. (See schedule for details).

A new concert has been scheduled for 7/6/2002 at the Norfolk Fire Dept. Centennial Celebration. The day's activities include a parade and Fireworks at 9:30pm after the concert! Don't miss it!

Several people have contacted us to let us know that there is another band called Flashback on the circuit. While this is not really news to us (they've been around for a while), it is causing some confusion. As far as I know, they are based somewhere up north (CT, or maybe MA) although I can't be sure. We've never met. Neither band is limited to performing in a certain area. Be sure to get details from the Sponsors of the event you are attending to make sure the band you're going to see is the  one you're expecting! As a matter of fact, after searching the Internet, I found 3 or 4 other bands called Flashback throughout the U.S., one in  Houston, a couple in California, and one from Boston (perhaps our regional mystery band?) Our band is based in Milford and plays mostly in the southern CT area, although we've played up in Windsor Locks & Enfield a bunch of times, as well as Manhattan, Westchester and Long Island.

A new era begins. New Years Eve 2000 marked the last performance for Brian (Vocals-21 years), Don Gillotti (Drums-15 years) & Don Comeau (Keyboards-13 years). The party was held at the Wallingford Elks Lodge. Lots of friends were on hand for the farewell. Don C. had his Homer Simpson doll returned after a long and strange odyssey! The band was presented with a sentimental plaque commemorating the last 6 years that the band has been performing here. (Click here to see the plaque)

Ken & Bill Bloxsom & Bob Pettinelli have joined the band as the new Keyboard/Guitarist/Drummer respectively.  Ken & Brad used to play together in a duo called Mandrake over 20 years ago, and a trio called Impulse back in the mid-eighties, and Ken & Bill in the Bloxsom Brothers Band in the early 90's. Ken was also the keyboard player for Fred Parris and the Five Satins for a couple years! Another interesting fact: Bill played in the band that played at Brad & Ken's 8th Grade Graduation party in 1971! Took us 30 years to get into the same band! Please join us in welcoming the guys.

The band has been discussing re-releasing both albums together on a single CD (if possible). If we do, they will be re-mastered. We'll keep you posted.
